In an effort to inform the Springboro Schools’ Community, the Warren County SWAT Team will be conducting a routine training exercise on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 8:30am to 3:00pm at Springboro High School.
During this time, Springboro High School will be closed. The entrance to
Springboro High School, as well as the SHS parking lot, will be barricaded and
closed off. The entrance to Springboro Junior High School will remain open. SWAT
Team and police vehicles may be in the Springboro High School parking lot on
July 24, however, this is only a routine training exercise. Select classrooms
and stairwells will be used for the training.
School is not in session, nor will any students be in the
building during the training exercise. A school bus, provided by Springboro
Schools' Transportation Dept., will be visible in the parking lot, however no
students will be present. Select staff members, who have already been made
aware of the training, may be in the building, but will not be a part of the
training exercise.
Springboro High School will be back open on Thursday, July 25,
2019.
