High School EOC Testing Schedule -- First time and Re-Takes

Seniors in good academic standing may elect to participate in the Senior Project as an alternative to completing their high school carer in the traditional fashion. Senior project assignments may include Job Shadowing or Community Service/Volunteer Projects.

Garfield Heights High School's Music Express show choir showcased remarkable talent, securing notable accolades at a recent competition. 

Mr Mingus facilitates his applied physics class as they experiment with momentum. The cups provided  area for the objects to enter, strike the interior wall of the solo cup and drive it forward.  Thus, we can have crude way of measuring the force of momentum during an impact. Mrs. Harb's Winter Outdoor Club at GHHS has been chasing away the winter blues by exploring the outdoors! The Winter Outdoor Club at Garfield Heights High School exposes students to all winter in Cleveland has to offer including winter lights, tobogganing, and hiking! In the on-site manufacturing plant tour, students were exposed to real machinery and operators. The students were given the opportunity to work on a manufacturing team using problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to work through a variety of challenges to produce a functional product. Students were able to explore today’s careers in manufacturing are technology-driven and to serve as an entryway to other plant tours with MAGNET’s manufacturing partners. GHHS Athletics Hall of Fame
is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Hall of Fame. Do you know an athlete, coach, or team that you think might deserve this honor? Nominations are being accepted now through January 26th for the 2024 Hall of Fame Class. Please fill out the nomination form below:

The Garfield Heights City Schools, alongside South Euclid Lyndhurst and Euclid City Schools, mourns the loss of former Principal Mike Fording. 

Seniors measurements for cap and gown will be in the cafeteria 4th - 7th periods. All all afternoon CVCC students please come to the cafe 4th period to be measured. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Hadden in guidance.

On October 31, students in Senior Seminar and Government classes were treated to a visit by the Army Asset Truck, courtesy of Staff Sergeant Quadar Goldsmith.  Students experienced night vision goggles, Army safety apparel, and numerous interactive activities.  Despite the chilly weather, a great time was had by all!
