Having dedicated over two decades to public education, Mr. Fording served in various roles, including teacher, coach, Assistant Principal at Garfield Heights High School, and Principal at Garfield Heights Middle School. A proud alumnus of Euclid City Schools, he concluded his career as the principal of Charles F. Brush High School. Amidst a terminal illness, Mr. Fording exemplified remarkable strength, prioritizing others, maintaining selflessness, and demonstrating compassion for students and colleagues. His legacy is one of bravery, compassion, and enduring leadership. Survived by his wife Melissa and four daughters, he will be fondly remembered as a respected educational leader. The Garfield Heights City Schools extends its heartfelt condolences to his family and the entire educational community impacted by his loss.
